What we collect on this website, and what we do with it.
LAST UPDATED NOVEMBER 5, 2026
Mint Phoenix LLC ("Mint Phoenix", "we" or "us") is a small agency based in Virginia. You can reach us at hello@mintphoenix.com.
This policy covers mintphoenix.com and the client portal. Websites we build for clients are run by those clients, and our Terms of Service, not this policy, describe how we handle their data.
We collect only what we need to run the site and do our work:
We use your information to answer you, to deliver and bill for our work, to send the newsletter to people who asked for it, to keep the site secure, to improve our pages, and to meet legal and accounting duties.
We never sell your information, and we do not run advertising.
We share information only with the services that help us run the site and our business:
We use only the cookies needed to sign in and keep you signed in to the client portal. They are not used for tracking, and a portal sign-in lasts up to seven days. The public pages set no advertising cookies and use no advertising networks or tracking pixels. Our visit statistics use no cookies at all.
Visit statistics are kept for up to about 13 months. We keep messages, client records and invoices for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete them. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email hello@mintphoenix.com and we will respond. We honor the rights that Virginia residents have under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and we extend the same choices to everyone. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in any email.
Everything travels over encrypted connections, portal sign-in cookies are protected, and access to client records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and if a problem affects your information we will tell you promptly.
Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will also tell portal users by email.
How we work with clients is set out in our Terms of Service.
